The table below describes the number of people (in million) who went for international travel in 1990, 1995, 2000 and 2005. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The table illustrates the comparison of the number of international tourists who went for travel over a 15-year period, between 1990 and 2005.

Overall, it is apparent that the number of international travelers increased for the all regions over the period given.

In 1990, 280.2 million of Europeans went to travel in different countries, higher than the other four given areas. The number Increased gradually and in 2005, it remained the highest at 400.2 million. A similar trend also observed for the people of Asia and the pacific. The number of tourists went up from 60.2 in 1990 to 135.8 in 2005, which was the second highest. However, in America, the number fluctuated, it stood at 80.5 million in 1990, rose over the next ten years, and after that, it slightly declined to 113.2 million in 2005.

With regards to Africa and the Middle East, the number of people also inclined over the next 15 years. In Africa, the number was 18.2 million in 1990, almost double than then number of the Middle East, rising steadily and reached 28.7 million in 2005. In the Middle East, the tourists number was lower than the other given regions, at the beginning and the end of the period.
