The bar graph illustrates the number of prisoners in 5 countries such as Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand, United State and Canada.

The statistic shows the figures for imprisonments in Great Britain are gradually increase it the past 6 decades the number started from 25,000 to 82, 000. In contrast, number of imprisonments in Canada is slowly decrease there was 120,000 prisoners in year 1930 and in next 60 years the number dropped to 88,000 prisoners.

On the other hand, number of criminal in United State always on the top range compared to another 4 countries, during the year 1930 to 1980 number of prisoners show the highest and the number of prisoner never went down below 100,000 prisoners. In the year 1980 it hit the peak of 140,000 criminals in United State.

Nonetheless, for Australia and New Zealand had the same statistic where the trend fluctuates the number of prisoners of both countries during 60 years are less than 100,000 imprisonments. To illustrate further detail of number of criminal in Australia and Canada in the year of 1980 there were 45,000 85,000 prisoners respectively.

In conclusion, it can be seen that the overall number of imprisonments in 5 countries are accretion, the number of prisoners started from the year 1930 the total number around 400,000 and by the year of 1980 the number of prisoners’ increase by 32,000.
