The numbers of people who visit Ashdown Museum and the results of satisfaction surveys before and after refurbished periods are revealed in the table and charts below.
Generally, there were significant increased on number of visitors after refurbishment. In addition, surveys of visitor satisfaction showed an improvement in the same period.
During the year before reconstruction, the number of visitors to the museums stood at 74.000. While the biggest proportion of those people felt dissatisfied with the museum’s services at 40%, such service made satisfied and very satisfied for 30% and 15% of total visitors respectively. However, only one a tenth had very dissatisfied feelings.
After refurbishment, the number of visitors revealed a rise by 18.000 followed by increasing satisfaction with 35% and 40% who felt very satisfied and satisfied respectively. In addition, the figure for those who felt dissatisfied declined by 25%, and a half for very dissatisfied compared with the previous period. However, only 5% did not participate in this survey.
