The figure depicts six different products categorised by each export values in $HK billions between 2009 and 2010.
Overall, over the two years mentioned, metal had the largest percentage of its export change. The total value of exports significantly increased, while clothing and manufacturing were in the least proportion in 2010.
Although standing at 2.3 in 2009, metal experienced the most noticeable change of its export value (122%) among all products. Another increasing value was on telecommunity with a rise of more than half percentage, and the least change 13% was witnessed by equipment exports. In contrast, clothing and manufacturing showed a negative change, which dropped by 17% and 27% each.
Between 2009 and 2010, equipment and telecommunity competed to be the largest value exported, 10.3 and 12.7 respectively. Metal which was the lowest export value of six products, more than doubled its value in 2010, while the rest of export products (clothing and manufacturing) slightly dropped at similar levels.
