The table provides information about the amount of mobile phones sold in millions from 2006 to 2012 in various labels namely Nokia, Ericsson, Samsung, Motorola and Apple.
Overall, the number of cell phones rose significantly almost types except for those of Ericsson and Motorola. It can be seen obviously that Nokia had the highest levels throughout the period from 345 million in 2006 to 475 million in 2008. This number dropped slightly to 335 million in 2012.Similarly, Samsung as well as Apple followed the same upward trend and went up rapidly between 2006 and 2012 in selling phones. Noticeably, Apple saw no amount of phones sold in 2006, which eventually appeared in 2007, at 2.3 million.
Conversely, there was a sustantial fall in the number of cell phones sold in Ericsson almost the period. This data was in 74 million in 2006 and then decreased to just 28 million at the end of 2012. It also hit the lowest amount compared with 4 other famous brands.Finally, Motorola had a consistent reduction from 210 to 28 million over the past six years.
To sum, the world is getting more and more modern with the development of technology, which leads to the great need of high tech of people.
