The line graph compares the number of times of processed food which was consumed every year by teenagers in Australia over a 25-year period between 1975 and 2000.
Overall, hamburgers was by far the most popular convenient food at the end of the period. Another interesting point is that the number of times that hamburgers and pizza were eaten showed a significant upward trend. A reverse pattern can be seen in Chips and Fish.
Looking at details, in 1975, 5 times of pizza was eaten every year (the lowest point), which was 5 times lower than that of hamburgers. 20 years later, pizza and hamburgers gained popularity. The quantity of pizza and hamburgers showed an exponential growth to roughly 84 times and 100 times in that order. These figures the hit the plateau in the last 5 years.
