The charts below illustrate the yearly percentages of expenditures on various sectors in a specific educational center during a three-year period in 1981, 1991 and 2001.

Overall, it can be observed that the highest proportion of annual spending in the particular UK school was allocated to teachers’ salaries, while the insurance part occupied the lowest level of annual expenses during the span.

Regarding the total school spending in 1981, instructors’ and other staff’s salaries were 40% and 28% respectively. The amount of senses on both equipment and resources of educational tools such as books were similar with 15%. By marked contrast, insurance part had the lowest proportion of expenses in total with only 2%.

Turning to 1991, although the expenses percentages of workers’ salaries and furniture reduced sharply from 28% and 15% to 22% and 5% respectively between 1981 - 1991, the expenditures in terms of instructors’ salaries(50%) and resources(20%) increased significantly during the same period.

In 2001, teachers’ wages (45%) and furniture and necessary equipment (23%) accounted for the highest quantity of total budget. The allocated money to other staff’s salaries and educational references reduced obviously to 15% and 9% respectively in comparison to 1981 as the point of origin. Furthermore, insurance saw the highest growth rate during the whole three-year period, reaching a peak of 8%.
