The two maps below show the changes in town of Denham from 1986 to the present day. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant
The diagrams indicate the transformation of the town of Denham in the period from 1986 onward.
It is clear that the town has undergone remarkable changes with the modernized infrastructure and the conversion into a more residential area over the period surveyed.
As can be seen in the pictures, two farmland areas were located in the north-east and south-west of the town in 1986, but then these areas have been removed to make way for housing, which has turned the town into a more residential area. The infrastructure has also been renovated with side roads being constructed leading to housing instead of the only main road in the past. The bridge over the river Stoke has remained unchanged since 1986.
Another notable change is seen for large house to the east of the river, which has been expanded and converted into a retirement home. Additionally, the primary school situates in the same location as it did, but has experienced an enlargement with two new blocks of building. Two shops lied across the school has also been demolished for additional housing while the post office still remains its position.
