The pie charts illustrates water consumption for various purposes in 6 different regions all over the world.
Overall, it is obvious that water is used for agricultural needs that overshadow other purposes, except in Europe and North America. In addition, domestic use take the smallest percentage compared to other demands.
Firstly, look at the figures of agricultural use, we can see Africa and Central Asia consume much more water than the other regions, with 84% and 88%, respectively. Following by South East Asia (81%), South America ( 71%), two other countries take only below 40% in use. In terms of industrial use, Europe and North America observe the striking percentage, with 53% and 48%, in turn, while Africa and Central Asia take only 5% to 7%.
According to the chart, needs in domestic use is small. The highest nation is North America at 19%, while other countries are just under 15%.
