The charts below display the percentages of the people to speak in English and in other languages over the past years.
Overall, it is obvious that the proportion of the people in Britain who are speaking Spanish to their local language is more.
It is obvious that the percentage of the people who are speaking English only have decreased to half the percentage in 2010 than in 2000. On the other hand, people who learnt Spanish have increased their percentage by 5% in 2010 while for those who are speaking French have decreased to 10% than the original number in 2000.
In contrast, the percentage of people who spoke fluently German language remained unchanged. Luckily, the British people who learnt another language increased by 5% which is also noticed when learning other two languages.
