Dear Sir,
I am Catherine, a student at Sydney University pursuing B.Sc Biochemistry 2nd year. I am writing this letter to seek your assistance as I lost my student Identity card which is important to survive in the country.
In detail, on 18th August, precisely at 9.44 AM, I got into the local metro train from Berkely station to the University. Soon after four stations, a thief got into our compartment who had stolen many important things from the passengers and in the same incident, I lost my College ID card. As he wore masks and goggles, we could not identify his features. Moreover, he dropped out of the running train.
However, I immediately notified the occurrence to the university dean and he suggested me to report it to the police station and have a copy of the report to apply for a new ID card.
I would be much obliged if you kindly register my lost ID case and provide me with a copy of that.
Looking forward to your swift response.
Yours faithfully,
Catherine Grace
