Dear Sir,
I am writing in reference to inquire about an item which I lost while travelling from Delhi to Ajmer. Let me explain in detail.
To elucidate I was carrying a black suitcase with travel stickers on the front and the back which gave it a unique look. It also had a Samsonite marking engraved on the front. Additionally, it had a luggage tag which mentioned my name, address and contact details. The incident happened on the train while boarding the superfast express train from Delhi like all travellers I had kept the suitcase in the overhead storage box. However, since the train arrived late and I was rushing late for a meeting so I forgot my suitcase on the train. Although it was only when I reached my hotel I realized that my luggage was missing and tried to reach the railway customer care department which took the ticket details from me.
Lastly, I would request you find my luggage as it contains important official documents which are immediately required for tender submission. For your information, I was seated in AC third tier compartment and my seat no was 32B. I hope these details will prove helpful in locating my suitcase.
