The first bar graph demonstrate the proportion of males and females in a nation who do various houseworks and the second bar chart illustrates the average times each gender preferred on each home task per day.
In general, it is clear that in the first bar graph, cooking is the most important housework for men and women to choose. Additionally, most of females spend more times than males in doing home tasks in the second bar chart.
Looking at the first bar chart for more details, one can see that cooking is the most popular choice of men and women, with 60% and over 80% respectively. The percentage of cleaning between each gender is at the second highest position, starting with approximately 40% of males and more than 60% of females. In contrast, the least choice of housework belongs to house repair with under 10% of women and almost 20% of men, followed by pet care with around 20% in both sexes.
As can be seen from the second bar graph, the most time expenditure of males and females is cooking with around a hour for men and almost 90 minutes for women. The amount of time spending for cleaning of women is higher than men, with over 60 minutes compares with around 40 minutes respectively. The least total of time between males and females belongs to house repairs, starting with under 10 minutes for females and almost 20 minutes for males.
