The graph below shows the number of enquiries received by the Tourist Information Office in one city over a six-month period in 2011.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
You should write at least 150 words.
The line graph illustrates the number of questions that Tourist Information Office received in three various ways between January and June in 2011 in a particular city.
Overall, people were more likely to ask directly, followed by contact through cellphone. Whereas, the number of people who sent a letter or an email to the office was the lowest.
In January, more than 400 people came to the service and asked for their inquiries in person. This figure increased significantly to the level of nearly 2000 people in June. There were nearly 1000 people who sent their questions from the first month in 2011. This figure dropped to 800 in the following month but then experienced a dramatic rise from 800 to 1600 people through five months.
However, people contacted by letter or email were decreasing in number. Specifically, from January to May this figure fell from nearly 800 to about 200 people and then remained steady through last month of the period in 2011.
