The given line chart illustrates the proportions of Australian commodities sold abroad to four distinctive regions in the period of 12 years from 1990 to 2012. Overview, most Australian goods were conveyed to Japan, as opposed to India with the least stuff import from Australia. It is also noticeable that the position of Japan was taken place by China later.
In terms of the figure for Australian exports to China, in 1990, its figure started at roughly 26%, after which saw a minimal plunge to 20% in the next 5 years. From 2000 to 2005, the figure made up 18% and stayed unchanged until 2005 and ended with the figure being recorded at 16% in 2012
The proportion of Australian items exports to the remaining countries started the period lower with 4% for India and China, 11% for US. After 10 years, the ratio of Australian exports to India remained untouched, and two remaining countries grew to varying degree with the figure being recorded at 5% and 12% respectively. From 2005 onward, the proportion of stuff conveyed to US dipped substantially and ended with the figure being recorded at around 7%. By contrary, China which observed a consistent increase to 30%, which was double the figure of India in the final year
