The two pie charts illustrate the main reason for immigration from the UK and emigration to England in the year 2007.
Overall, the reason is definite job was receiving the highest figures in two kinds of migration. Meanwhile, the next highest statistics in the chart of immigration were for formal study but it was the lowest figure in emigration.
In terms of the main reason for immigration, the definite job made up the highest percentage, with 30%, closely followed by the formal study at 26%. The next highest figure was recorded in the data for the accompany, a little above than looking for work and the other with 12% and 11%, respectively. Meanwhile, no reason stated had the lowest percentage at 6%.
Regarding emigration, definite job and looking for work took the lion’s share of the chart, with 29% and 22%, respectively. After that statistics, 18% recorded the figure of no reason stated, closely followed by the other and accompany with 14% and 13%, respectively. Lastly, the lowest figure is 4% and it belonged to formal study.
