The table demonstrates the number of tourists who traveled for overseas traveling from 1990 to 2005
In general, it is clear that the year 2005 was witnessed the highest total of people went abroad. In addition, the total of tourists chose Europe to visit was the biggest from 1990 to 2005
Looking at the table for more details, one can see that the total of people who went abroad in 1990 was the lowest with 448.9 million. In the following years, the figure in total increased dramatically and reached a peak at 693.7 million in 2005. To be more specific, Europe was the most popular destination with 280.2 million in the first year. There was an upward trend in the number of tourists visiting Europe in the next 15 years, it rose gradually and stood at 400.2 million in 2005. Moreover, the total of travelers in America was the second highest position, starting with 80.5 million in 1990. After 15 years, the figure of visitors in America grew significantly and hit the highest point at 113.2 million in the last year
As can be seen from the remaining categories, the Middle East was the last choice of people who traveled, with 9.8 million in 1990. The number of tourists in this area was experienced a gradual growth, from 11.3 million in 1195 to 15.8 million in 2005. The same trend was seen in the total of tourists in Africa, starting at 18.2 million in the first year and ended up with 28.7 million of people in the final year
