Dear Joseph,
I hope you and your family are doing well. It was nice to receive a letter from you yesterday. I’m glad that you’ve decided to go to Gir sanctuary in India for a camping vacation.
Believe me, you wouldn’t want to come back to the hustle and bustle of the city life after experiencing the calmness and serenity of a jungle. Besides, it will also educate you about important survival skills, nutrition and direction. Finally, I must say that the experience of sleeping under an open sky is out of the world. Make sure you do that!
Let me warn you about a few challenges. First, please carry some mosquito repellent with you. If you get bitten by mosquitos, you might get a fever and it may completely ruin your trip. I must also tell you that it is completely ok to feel homesick at first. But please hang in there! You’ll eventually start enjoying it.
To be honest, I would like to come with you on this trip. However, I’ve already been there several times and I want to utilize my leaves for travelling to Japan in December.
All the best for your upcoming adventure. Enjoy it to the fullest.
