A museum near your home is looking for people to do part-time voluntary/unpaid work. You would like to do some voluntary/unpaid work at the museum. Write a letter to the museum director to apply for the unpaid work. In your letter:
Explain why you want to do voluntary work at the museum.
Describe some skills and qualities you have that would be useful.
Give details of when you would be available for work
Dear Sir/ Madam,
I am jolly, living in London street near the museum and I write in reference to the job advertisement for voluntary work at the museum published on www.bestjobs.com. I have a keen interest in ancient history and working here will provide me the opportunity to learn new things. Moreover, in my next semester, I would get a project on the ancient life of people so this would be a great chance in that perspective as well.
Furthermore, I have an ample amount of computer knowledge as well as organizing things suitably. These skills will not only be of great use in making records and but also helpful in keeping things in order. Currently, I am on my autumn break for about a month band have enough time to do this voluntary work. I will be available in the afternoon from 2 pm to 5 pm on weekdays and 9 am to 2 pm on weekends.
I hope you will find me suitable for this work and I look forward to getting a prompt reply from you.
Yours faithfully,
Jolly
