write a letter to a building manager to provide bicycle parking at work.
Dear Mr. Shah,
I am writing for creating space in Pearl Avenue to park bicycles. At present cycle owners park offside and has risk of getting stolen.
As you know, there are many environment loving residents in our tower, who prefer using bi-cycles to commute but due to lack of parking space, they have to park it in pedestal footpath. Admittedly, this causes inconvenience to passers and tenants to use the space for walking. Astonishingly, it is true that our parking area is too small and there is no provision for bi-cycles to park. Hence, I request you to think of some space that can be allotted to cycles.
Moreover, using bi-cycles should be encouraged, but having no parking will discourage many people from cycling. The tank near the front entrance is unused from last 2 years. It would be great if the tank is knocked down and the area is utilized to park the cycles. This way the tenants would be motivated for using cycles as well as they would feel secure about parking.
I hope you would take favorable steps to provide cycle parking. I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely,
XYZ
