Dear Sir,
My name is Gaurav Patel.I am resident of Maninagar area.I am writing this letter to express my concern about the closure of playground in my area.I got this news from local newspaper.
Local council has taken this decision because the playground is in dilapidated condition as it has not been used by children since so many time.There are couple of reasons why children do not use this playground. One of the major reason is that children these days hardly get a time to play because of academic study. And secondly if they get a free time then mostly they prefer to spend their time either in front of tv screen or on mobile.This playground provide immense benefits to children. Firstly children get a place to play outdoor games which improve their physical fitness and it is need of the hour as obesity is the common problem in kids in this modern world. As such playground is hard to find in most cities because of scarcity of land.
I would like to give some suggestions to increase the usage of playground. Awareness can be created among children regarding the importance of outdoor activities. Government also can install fancy rides to attract children.
I would like to request you to reconsider your plan and drop the idea of closure of playground.
