Write a letter to your landlord complaining about noise in the block of flats which he owns. Include:
where you live
what the problem is
what he should do
Dear sir,
I am Priya, one of your tenants, who has been living here for two months at the block number 24 of your flat. Since the beginning, when I started to live here I have faced no problem; however, these days there is a disturbance that is creating a lot of problem for me.
I am writing this letter to complain in the strongest terms about the noise which I hear on the daily basis from from the block which is adjacent to me, that is number 25. Actually, the couple who is residing there organises house warming party for their friends after every three days. And they also arrange a Home DJ as well. Because of which, there is a great hustle and bustle as their guests cross from the front of my apartment's door as noise of their feet disturb me a lot. Apart from this, they play music till 12 AM without thinking of their neighbours in a sense that they are disturbing them.
I also want to inform you that one day a request had been made by me not to play loud music in the late night, after that no action was taken by them. Therefore,I had to write a letter to you so that you will send them a notice not to create such kind of disturbance because I have to sleep early due to my strict office hours.Infact, sometimes they shout also that create a fear in all the residents’ mind. So there is a need of a strict action to be taken.
It would be appreciated by me if you look into this matter as soon as possible.
Yours faithfully,
Priya
