Write a letter to your manager about a computer system problem that you have encountered and say Describe the problem How it is affecting your work What needs to be done about it
Dear Sir/ Madam,
I am writing this letter to express my concern about the problem my computer has since this morning. It is not booting.
Yesterday, I had a normal shut down after work. When I tried to switch it on this morning, a blue screen had shown first, followed by that the system got off. I tried to restart the computer a few times, but all went futile. As I am new to the organization, I do not know the standard procedure to deal with this, and hence, I decided to seek your advice.
Because of field trips, I was absent in the office the day before, and I have many reports to prepare. Some important emails also await a reply soon. If not resolved immediately, it would increase the load of my pending assignments.
I shall be grateful if you see that the necessary steps are taken to resolve this time. Kindly advise on the standard procedure to me, so that there is no need to trouble you in the future for such matters.
I request you for earlier action.
Yours faithfully,
Name.
