You and some friends ate a meal at a restaurant to celebrate a special occasion, and you were very pleased with the food and service. Write a letter to the restaurant manager. In your letter:
• give details of your visit to the restaurant
• explain the reason for the celebration
• say what was good about the food and the service
Dear Manager,
I am Jot, residing at sector-22b, Chandigarh. I am writing this letter to appreciate your delicious food and wonderful services you offered to us last Sunday at your hotel Shivalik.
I and my friend came to your hotel on November 11th for celebrating my birthday at around 8:00 pm. Many of my friends came from abroad and we have met after a long time. We picked this location because of its reputation and convenient location.
We were ten in number after the cake cutting ceremony we went to your eatery. We really enjoyed the traditional Italian food with the red velvet cake served by your restaurant. It really did worth the money we paid because I assume you have hired the best chief in the town! The service of the waiters was amiable. They were truly well-mannered, organized and skilled in serving food. The most fascinating feature was the interior design of the restaurant.
We also had a feeling that how preciously you treat your customers when I got a return gift which was a small chocolate box as my birthday gift on behalf of the restaurant team. It really made my day.
I hope the authorities of your restaurant will always ensure this kind of service and food to all its guests.
Yours Faithfully,
Jot
