explain the holiday plan.
explain why your brother will not able to join.
Invite the friend for this trip.

Dear Sam,

I hope you are fine. It's been ages that we have met and had fun together. I have a news for you! Me and my elder brother has planned a trip of seven days, scheduled next month, to Thailand. In this trip, both the major cities- Bangkok and Pattaya- are included. Booking for accommodation has already been done, other than flights.

Unfortunately, my brother will not be able to accompany me on this trip due to an urgent official meeting next month. As you know, this is his promotion year, and this meeting is very crucial for his future career.

I was thinking, why don't you accompany me on this trip? We would have fun together and remember our college days. I know you like tropical weather. We will enjoy sandy beaches, soaking in the sun together. Moreover, it's your winter holidays. Don't worry about the expenses as it will be covered by me.

Hope to receive a positive response from you soon.

With love,

Gaurav
