Essay topics:

You and your family are planning to spend a weekend at a seaside hotel. Write a letter to the hotel for making the arrangement. Let them know:
When you will be arriving and leaving
What type of rooms you would like and ask how much the weekend will cost
Inquire about the activities and places of interest near the hotel.

Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Vikas, and I am writing to request you to book a room in your hotel on the weekend of 30 April.

I along with my family shall arrive at the hotel on 30th April at around 10 am. As this time is little earlier than usual check-in time so I request you to make necessary arrangements for early check-in.

I understand that it is the New Year time, and most of rooms in your hotel might be pre-booked; however, only a family suite which can accommodate up to three people and which is equipped with some basic amenities such min-fridge and a microwave can suffice my requirement. Kindly provide me the details regarding the availability and the price for this kind of accommodation.

Further, I have keen interest in hiking, trekking and campaign so I am looking on internet for some camps near to your hotel which host these kinds of activities. Meanwhile, it will also be helpful if you can provide information on famous tourist spots and activities in the vicinity of your hotel to keep ourselves engaged during this trip.

Looking forward for your response.

Yours faithfully,
Vikas Sharma
