You are due to start an English language course next week but you will not be able to because you have some problems.
Write a letter to the manager of the language school, Sally Flannigan. In your letter:
explain your situation
describe your problems
tell him/her when you think you can start.
Write at least 150 words.
Dear Sally Flannigan,
I hope that you are doing great.
The ESL course is starting eventually in the upcoming week and I have already registered in it. Unfortunately, I am writing this letter to let you know that I am experiencing certain circumstances which prevents me from enrolling in the class.
In fact, my son Bilal has some problems in his teeth although he is still young. we have been visiting the dentist for several months, consequently, a lot of work has been done so far. Yesterday we got a call from the clinic telling us to prepare for an urgent surgery next week.
Now, I am on the edge of choosing between performing the surgery or attending the course and I have to compromise. If I don't fix my son's issues, he will struggle for at least 6 months untill we figure out another appointment. Therefore, I have to drop the tutorial and reregister again.
Last week, I stopped by the office and I asked the coordinator about the plan for the new year. She informed me that you will consider doubling the capacity of classrooms. I have a plan to register for the next semester unless you provide me with other suggestions.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely,
Kareem Jaradat
