You are living in a rented apartment, but you have found some problems with the furniture. Write a letter to your landlord. In your letter, you should:
• say who you are
• explain the problems
• say what you want your landlord to do
Dear Sir
I am one your tenants and moved into your newly built flats last month in an apartment numbered 405. I am writing this epistle to tell you about the issues related to the furniture available in the room.
First of all, I am staying in a two-seater room and sharing it with another girl student. We both have to study during night hours but there is only one set of study table and chair. So, we are facing difficulty while studying as our study hours are same. Secondly, the lock of my cupboard is not working because I am having valuable items for example laptop and it is not safe to place such items openly.
I request you to fix the lock as soon as possible so that I can place my expensive things safely inside the wardrobe. Moreover, you mentioned in the rent agreement that you will provide study furniture so, arrange one more set of table and chair so that we do not have to suffer while doing our college work.
Your immediate response would be appreciated.
Yours sincerely
Malisa Morgan
