You have a friend who lives in a city abroad. You have decided that you would like to apply to do a course at one of the colleges in this city. Write to your friend and:
explain what you would like to do
tell them what type of work or studies you have been doing for the past few years
ask for assistance in contacting an appropriate institution.

Dear Emma,

It’s been a long time. I hope you are doing well. I am writing this letter to know more details about the User Interface and User Experience Design course at the colleges in Vancouver. I plan to choose the best college for this course.

As you know, I have been working as a website designer in a technology software company in New Westminster for one year. My duties are analyzing a new idea, searching user experiences and creating all of the digital sketches. As my leader is highly pleased with my performance, he asked me to learn advanced knowledge in the user experience field to take a manager position. So I would like to join a connected UX designing course in Vancouver for a few months.

I would like to ask your help with the details of the appropriate institution with the contact number. Perhaps you could send me their catalogues of these programs. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Thanks for your help.

Jane
