You have lost an item of value on train.Write a letter to the railway company. In your letter
• Describe the item
• Explain where and when you left it
• Say what action you would like the company to take
Dear Sir
I am inscribing this missive in regard to the misplace of my watch in a train, last weekend.
First let me explain you tge whole scenario, on last Saturday, when I was traveling from 'Rajiv chownk' to main railway station, I lost my 'Rolex watch' in that journey. I was sitting on the seat number v21, coach number A5,left corner side. It was off time from the offices and congestion was there on the train and in that crowd, I must misplace my wrist watch. It was sipver plated, with 'R' imprinted on its back and having round dial.
I would like your organisation to search for the item, as it is very costly and it's my anniversary gift and valuable to me. Please ask your staff, whether anyone have found any watch, while cleaning the coaches? You can announce little reward from my side as well.
I hope to hear a prompt and positive action from your side.
Thanking you
Yours sincerely
Anand
