You have lost your student identification card. This has created some problems for you.
Write a letter to the director of student services. In your letter
advise them of your situation
explain how this is affecting you
request a new card
Dear Sir/Madam,
In this letter, I am writing to inform you about the disappearance of my student identification card on October 10.
That day, I traveled to many hospitals by bus. My teacher wanted me to collect information for a healthcare presentation. Someone might have stolen it on the bus, while I was talking on the phone. Alternatively, it might have slipped from my pocket, when I was entering the overcrowded public transport.
Anyway, the missing of the card has already negatively affected my university life. First of all, I could not borrow books from the public library, since the librarian demands the presence of ID card. Secondly, I could not purchase clothing, cinema tickets and food with discount, because the salesman needs it to register my number in their account system.
It would be great, if you as the head of student service issued a new card, as in a week I need it for booking a train ticket. I look forward to your reply. You can either send me a message to my email address tolikxxx@mail.ru or phone on the following number.
Yours faithfully,
Tolegen
