You have recently moved into a new house. You want to tell your friend about your good news.

Write to your friend. In the letter:

• Describe the house.

• Describe the neighbourhood.

• Invite your friend to come and see the house.

Hi Shahla,
Its been a while I have seen you. Hope you’re doing great with the IELTS preparation. I am writing you to inform about a great news that I have recently bought a new house and have moved in just a few days ago.

It is a mid-sized duplex house with 5 bedrooms and an attached bathroom with every room. There is also a maid room in the back yard. The exterior of the house is covered with antique red bricks which give it a sophisticated look and attractive at the same time.

The Neighbourhood is one of the best part about the house as it is covered with trees and roads have speed limit signs everywhere which makes it very safe for running or walking in free time. The “no horn” signs also contribute to calamity of the area.

The last time we met was a few months ago and I would love to have you around for next weekend, we can watch movie together at my new place and play some other games like chess for fun and you can see my new house too this way.

Your Friend
