Tell the manager what you want him/her to do.
Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter to bring your immediate attention to the fact of my missing items in one of your executive suite room.
On April 3rd evening, I had checked into an executive suite room number 315 on third floor at your hotel and was there for three days as part of a business conference held at Orchid Hall. During my checkout process, I somehow missed to cross check all the cabinets. As such, my research related documents in a folder was left behind in the room.
I strongly assume that it is in the top shelf of bedside table beside the cushion sofa. The leather folder is black in color and it has my initials J.T engraved on the front. even though, it has got an anti-theft lock on it, I am hoping the folder doesn’t end up in wrong hands. Additionally, those documents are relevant for my research project which is about due for completion in a couple of months.
I request you to kindly handover the folder to one of my colleague, Mr. Ryan Smith who is still a guest at your hotel(room number 215). Please let me know if any authorisation mail needs to be send across for him to collect the documents?
Thanking you in advance.
Your’s sincerely,
Jonathan Taylor
