You recently received a letter from a friend asking for advice about whether to go to college or try to get a job. You think he/she should get a job.
Write a letter to this friend. In your letter
- say why he/she would not enjoy going to college
- explain why getting a job is a good idea for him/her
- suggest types of job that would be suitable for him/her
Dear Raman,
I hope you are doing very well. Last week i received your letter and i came to know that you are confused that continuing study would provide more productive results for future career or it is better to find out a job. I would definitely recommend you to pursue a profession.
As you have completed your masters degree with accountant and business. It is the time to pursue a lucrative employment instead of enrolling for further studies. Although education plays an crucial role in getting a salaried job, practical skills are more demanding in every sector of life nowadays. Moreover, employers are looking for skills and abilities instead of theoretical knowledge in this competitive era. Also, you have been studying for a long period of time and more study would make you monotonous. Therefore, you should try to be employed for a position in the company.
If you will start a professional journey from now, it will give you valuable and extensive experience that will assist you in your career in upcoming time. Furthermore, if will allow you to experience real working conditions in the company that will make you able to encounter every situation and it will develop your problem solving and communication skills.
There are many jobs you can apply for such as accountant, sales representative, office administration and customer service. All these offers are related to your field of study and would help you in getting employment in a reputed company. I hope my suggestions will be taken into consideration.
Warm wishes,
Sarbjeet
