You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.
A friend has agreed to look after your house and pet while you are on holiday.
Write a letter to your friend. In your letter
• give contact details for when you are away
• give instructions about how to care for your pet
• describe other household duties
Write at least 150 words.
You do NOT need to write any addresses.
Begin your letter as follows:
Dear .....................,
Dear Kate,
How are you? Thanks for accepting to take care of my home and dog during my vacation. I almost cancelled the holiday when I couldn't find someone to help out.
My holiday is starting on the September 15 and I'm jetting out to New Delhi the same day. I'll be staying at Hotel Tropicana and in case you need to contact me, please call the hotel's customer care on 01896754 and tell them to transfer you to Alfred on room 112. You can also reach me through my personal email and for urgent matters, please use my WhatsApp or BBM.
Katy, is a difficult dog. She finds it difficult to cling to strangers easily, however, by the time you feed her for two consecutive periods, she will adjust to you. She needs to eat three times a day and her food is inside the fridge in the kitchen. Katy usually eats between Seven and Nine in the morning. The afternoon and evening meals are usually spaced between five and six hours from the previous meal. If you don't follow this regime, she may refuse to eat the food. You also need to bath her two times a day. I've affixed the instructions on how to do this on the dining table.
I'd also like that you take of the flowering plants in my parlor too. All you need to do is to water them twice a day and give them some fresh air. What I do is to open the windows during the day, but do not forget to close them at night or the house will be robbed.
Girl, I hope you enjoy your time with Katy.
Cheers,
Alfred.
