You will be moving to a new office soon. Write a letter to the general manager to request some necessary equipment for your future office
• what equipment will you need and when
• explain why you need and when
• suggest where to get it from and why
Dear Manager,
As per our recent meeting in regarding with the shifting of our office into a new location since 2nd February 2018, I am writing this letter to request you to make some prior arrangements in order to run the organization's work smoothly.
Though the new building is fully-furnished by the previous owner, let me explain what more will be needed there. Firstly, the new office does not have the wireless fidelity service that is quite mandatory in order to complete all the computer projects, and more importantly, the majority of our clients is from overseas with whom we make frequent online meetings. Secondly, I observed that the new reception area need two close -circuit cameras to observe all the visitors as the previous cameras have been damaged during shifting. Finally, to ensure safety measures during an emergency, a fire extinguisher should be installed on each floor.
It would be better if all the above-mentioned equipment could be fitted in the new premises before the inauguration ceremony that is being held on 1st February. This is because the following day all office workers will be resuming their duties in the new office and I am afraid that the delay in issuing these items could affect the progress of our company.
At last, I would like to suggest you that from where the company can purchase these pieces of equipment. I am well aware of the old vendors with whom we are dealing with years, but the local vendors nearby the new location may facilitate us better. The reason is that they offer services at a reasonable price with two year guarantee period which ultimately can save company's budget. Moreover, they would be easily available in the hour of need.
I hope you will consider my request as soon as you receive this letter and take swift action.
Yours sincerely,
Aman
