Your child is going on a three-day school trip to another country. The head teacher wants to find parents to go with the group and you would like to go.
Write a letter to the head teacher. In your letter:
-say why you would like to go on the trip.
-suggest what you could do to help during the trip.
-ask details about the trip.
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing this letter to express my best interest to join the international school trip to India. My daughter is studying in ninth grade and will be going for this three day trip to Delhi. Although I do not wish to stress her with my presence, this would be an incredible experience for both of us.
Firstly, I am an Indian, and I have spent my almost thirty years in India. I have traveled exquisite destinations in India, and would be the best participant to guide children about the art, culture, and music in the capital city of India. Plus, I know about the city inch by inch along with food, beverages, street markets for shopping and accommodation. Therefore, you will not be required to arrange a tourist guide to assist. Secondly, India is rich in culture, there are certain restrictions in some places, and I will be to address them instantly. As some rules are expected to be followed without signs and information. Thus, you will not be liable for any consequences arising from not abiding the rules. Finally, I will be able to share any experiences with all children so that they all can enjoy and learn more than expected.
If you will concur my nomination from this letter, I would be keen to know if volunteers are required to pay the fee for the trip? Also, will the accommodation will be arranged by the school management?
I am looking forward to your immediate response.
Yours sincerely,
Shwatank Bhasin
