Your child is going on a three day school trip to another country. The head teacher wants to find parents to go with the group and you would like to go.

Write a letter to the head teacher. In your letter:

Say why you would like to go on the trip

Suggest what you could do to help during the trip

Ask other questions about the trip

Dear Madam,

I'm writing this letter to express my willingness to join the three-day school excursion program to France that is planned for next month.

I just stumbled upon an advertisement posted in the school website while I was paying the second term fee online for my daughter, this morning.

The post indicated that you are looking for a parent to go with the school group which will go for a three-day trip to France.

I'm a parent of Tia (Student Code: E0027) who is studying in your school since 2015 and she is in fifth grade now.

I have been to France twice as part of business trip but I always wanted to visit the place along with my daughter. I see this is a wonderful opportunity

to travel abroad, spend quality time with my daughter and help the other students to have smooth and seamless trip.

I'm an HR by profession and I have organised business trips to various countries. Given this experience, I can help you in completing the necessary

paperwork for the visa application. I would like to bring it to your kind notice that I am fluent in French and I can be a tour guide and translator,

as I understand from my daughter that most of her classmates are native English speakers. Though the advertisement indicated that the trip will be planned

for next month but there was no detail about the date of travel. It would be great if could let me know the likely date of travel and the budget per

person.

I hope that I would be a suitable person to go with the group as I can play a dual role of tour guide and translator. I'm truly excited about this travel

and I am looking forward to hearing from you soon. Thanking you in anticipation.

Kind Regards,

Anna
