Dear Sir,
I am writing to you to bring your notice to a severe problem that our society may face from the decision of closing "the Height" sport center of our township. All our society members are using this sport center from years, in my case since my childhood.
Interestingly, this the only sport center left in our township, as most of the open fields are captured by builders. This center is more than a sporting complex; it is community center in broad sense. In the evening, all age groups of people enjoy their time; younger ones play footballs or crickets, older ones use the park for walking, and few of them use just for relaxation.
If this particular center is closed citing financial issue, then I believe it is not a right decision looking at the enormous benefits that local people are getting. The physical activities of the younger and older people will stop, which will deteriorate their health condition. In facts, to tackle the financial issue, we, all society members, are willing to pay a nominal annual membership fee, which will be helpful for you to manage the running cost.
Hope, you will look into the matter once again before taking any final decision.
