Dear ………………………,
Dear Mrs Smith,
I am writing this letter in response to your complaint regarding the loud noise from my flat because of which you had to suffer. I apologise for the trouble caused and assure you that this will not happen again.
Last Sunday, I was trying to repair a broken window in my kitchen. As some children were playing cricket outside my house, accidently, their cricket ball hit my kitchen window and broke its glass. Moreover, since, I do not have any prior experience, the hammering as well as banging must have created a problem for you and your family.
I am extremely sorry for the inconvenience caused because of the lack of my knowledge. I was not aware that the noise will be so loud that it will reach to your flat.
As the work of the kitchen window is still pending, I have decided to hire a professional. I will instruct him to keep the noise as low as possible. The work will be completed in a day or two.
Once again, I apologise for the problems faced by you. Please accept the box of chocolates as a token of my deepest regret for the disturbance faced by you due to my negligence.
Yours sincerely
Prabhpreet Kaur
