Your next door neighbor owns a small dog that barks throughout the day and the night.
Write a letter to your neighbor requesting that something be done about the dog. Including your leather:
- Your reason for writing
- What you would like to happen
- A nice, respectful style

Dear Mr. Smith,

I am your next door neighbor and writing to complain about your dog.

First of all, as you might know, I am a full time employee, which means that I work hard throughout the day, hoping that to have a nice, calm evening at my property. However, whenever I try to relax, your dog starts barking too loudly that makes it difficult for me to take a rest. As a matter of fact, As soon as I arrive home, your dog's barking irritates not only me, but also other neighbors as well.

Secondly, keeping a dog in small apartments like ours is against the law, so that one is not allowed to keep pets, particulary dogs, in this area of the city.

Consequently, I would like to request that either think of another place to keep it or make a special room for it in order not to make any noise at late hours of the day.

I hope this letter will not create any ill feelings between us and we can remain good neighbors as always.

Regards,

Jeff Anderson
