Dear Sir/ Madam,
I am mother of Jay who is in second grade in your school. I am writing this to let you know that he is learning French as a second language and he is finding hard to learn that. Actually, he is in need of some extra classes to improve his level.
To begin with, the reason behind his poor performance is that at home neither me nor my husband knows this language at all. So whenever he has any doubts or issues, we are not able to solve it. Moreover, we have tried some other methods like purchasing storybooks in French, but it is not helping him.
Furthermore, can you please explain about your teaching methods and experiences? It would be wonderful if we know that, so we can guide him in that way. Maybe your way of learning would be easy to adjust.
In the end, I would like to propose you some possible schedule for class as I am also a working women. Please make sure that he has classes on every Tuesday and Thursday after 4 P.M. Also, no class should be there on weekends as he would love to only play on that days.
