Art and music is a part of our life which relieves our mental stress.In my opinion art and music should be mandatory at school inorder to have a balanced mental life. Apart from academic knowledge, students should have some kind of non-academic activities such as arts and music to find their inner qualities. Not only Albert Einstein become famous, but also Justin beiber as well as Michael Jackson.
Many studies have shown that the students are struck in their academic studies and are not stress free.Majority of students suicide due to the pressure or strain in their studies.So if we could add on some kind of leisure to their curriculum, definitely it will help them to have a mental strength.
In my opinion, every school regardless of divisions should have arts and music periods allocated in their daily timetable. And the students who show their qualities should be recognised and be given appraisal.
