Recently published figures show that the wildlife population around the world has decreased by around fifty percent over the last fifty years. What can we do to help protect the wildlife around the world?

It is evident that approximately half of the wildlife species have been disappearing for the last five decades. Human has become the prime culprit of this destruction. This essay suggests that limiting masses activities and adopting a sustainable development approach are two viable solutions to deal with this issue.

One of the possible ways to save wildlife around the world is to reduce the amount of pollution created due to personal activities. That is to say, individuals perform various activities causing air, water, and soil pollution which
ultimately leads to severe environmental conditions, as a result, wild species suffer from this unfavorable environment, thus controlling these tasks can reduce the problem to a certain extent. A new act passed in Japan that encourage people to limit the use of vehicle has significantly reduced the number of gases into the atmosphere.

On another side, sustainability is another contributing factor to alleviate this issue. In other words, people should be motivated to use renewable energy resources to fulfill their energy needs rather than using conventional one which can help to grow the wildlife without any mortal intervention, and species that are on the verge of extinction can be saved. A recent figure shows that adopting an alternative way of fuel has deteriorated about 65% of the difficulty of endangering the population.

On balance, the rate of affecting flora and fauna is escalating for the past few years due to personal interference. This essay argues that encouraging individuals to minimize their processes and using less harmful sources of fuel can solve the problem.
