Essay topics:

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?
It is better to take the most difficult classes in college even though you cannot get a good grade in the courses.

Deciding what classes to take can be a hard decision for college students. Some students like classes which they always find easy, while other students tend to choose difficult ones. In my view, it is better to take the most difficult classes. It will be beneficial for not only the students’ careers but also students’ perspectives in life.
First of all, it could be so interesting for students to find out their potential that they have never imagined they could do and succeed in them. It is always advantageous for people to give themselves more opportunities to know what they actually aspire to become. Taking challenging classes means they have to work hard to keep up with the lecture, assignments, homework, tests, and exams. Some students may encounter difficulties at the beginning but some may find good ways to study and eventually choose them as their majors. For instance, one of my friends did not like anything regarding writing, memorizing choosing political science as her major after she took a government class. She thought she wanted to be an engineer as her parents but then she was inspired by articles in her government book and now she is a very good student among her peers.
In addition, it is interesting to explore our true purpose in life. In my way of thinking, it is going to be challenging to study difficult materials but students will be capable of meeting smart friends and good professors. Furthermore, they may see these classes as adversities to overcome the genuine ones in life. It is usually good to be surrounded by intelligent people who can discuss with each other about hard tasks. Some students who do not get good grades will try not to become bad students in the class. As a result, they will study harder, which is good for them when they go to a different environment to compete with a variety of people especially the workplace. One of my friends told me the motivation to help her jump over hurdles in her life when she studied abroad was the experiences she got from being the worst student to a top student in her class.
In conclusion, based on the arguments above. I think that it will be more beneficial for students to take the most difficult classes in college. Life can be miserable sometimes, so they need a better insight to prepare for what may come to them before going to a bigger community.

---------------------
Better to have 5 paragraphs with 3 arguments. And try always support/against one side but compare two sides, like this:

para 1: introduction
para 2: reason 1. address both of the views presented for reason 1
para 3: reason 2. address both of the views presented for reason 2
para 4: reason 3. address both of the views presented for reason 3
para 5: conclusion.

So how to find out those reasons. There is a formula:

reasons == advantages or

reasons == disadvantages

for example, we can always apply 'save time', 'save/make money', 'find a job', 'make friends', 'get more information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.

or we can apply 'waste time', 'waste money', 'no job', 'make bad friends', 'get bad information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
