The article states the three measurements to prevent scattering of cane toad in Australia and explains detail and result of these ways. However, the professor assert that not only are these ways unsuccessful but also they are damage the environment and refutes each of the author's ways.
First, the reading declares that building a national fence can stop spreading of cane toad. In contrast lecturer says that fence cannot block flow of the rivers water from one side to another side of fence and some young toad and matured toad's egg can transmit via river water and because of this reason the fence will be ineffective.
Second, the article posits that volunteers group of Australia people can trap cane toad as well as can gather toad's eggs and destroy them and by doing so stop scattering of this toads. The professor opposes this ways because she believes that untrained volunteers cannot differentiate between native endanger frog species with cane toad and destroy all species.
Third, the author states that producing a virus to triggered disease in cane toads and inhibiting maturing and reproducing these toads. The professor strongly refutes and rejects this way because terrible consequence of spreading a virus in environment in all species in environment. According to professor’s argument dispersing infected species to other country where this species are native member of those ecosystem will destroy other countries ecosystem.
