Educating children is a more difficult task today than it was in the past because they spend so much time on cell phone, online games, and social networking Web site.
Today there is no shortage of debate that games are one of the best teachers for children. but a lot of people believes that games only distract children`s attention and prevent their development. From my point of view, it is not more that delusion, because games are able to give children a lot of vital skills for their future, and I try to explain it in the following essay.
Firstly, children learn a lot of about competition, while they are playing games. it is definitely true that every game is accompanies by contest. Moreover, adult people face on competitions every day, for example at work or even at home. so, if children spend a lot of time playing, they will facilitate their future life. according to my personal experience, I used to compete with my peers in running, but unfortunately, I have never achieved successful results in it. so, when I lost some games, I became extremely upset and depressed, but despite all those difficulties, I continued my competition. Furthermore, those children`s competitions help me to seasoned my character and make my adult life easier.
Secondly, games are able to help children to improve their team-spirit skills and make them more socialized. it is common knowledge that child is not able to play with himself, because games involve not less than two persons, so game always leads to communication. In addition, the ability to communicate with other people makes person more socialized. Also, children often play with group, which helps them to develop their team-spirit qualities. it happens because children try to lead their team to winning, so they are obliged find a compromise with each other and play as a team. according to my personal experience, I was an introvert when I was a child. but when I started to play in team games, I was compelled to communicate with other children, so in virtue of those games I became more social.
By the way of conclusion, based on arguments explored above, it goes without say that games are extremely beneficial for children and their understanding of the world. And parents should allow their children to play more with their friends and peers.
