TPO 17 integrated Toefl Writing

Given the information in the text, there is problem about destroying wildlife especialy declining of birds' population when the human population starts to increase in united state. some factors cause the problem which will be explored in the following essay. However, the lecturer finds all the ideas dobious and presents some evidence to refute them all.
First, the author argues that expanding human population causes creating more houses, buildings, mall and etc, which deteriorate birds habitat like forests and garasslands. On the conterary, the professor dismisses this issue due to the fact that, although developing urban system might desteroyed a kind of bird it pays attention to the others like pegeons and makes for them an artificial habitat in several places like street.
Furthermore, the reading passage claims that with increasing population of people, the need of more food is inevitable, So more farmland are used to do so. Thus, lots of habitat changes to agricaltural land to support the food. In contrast, the speaker underlines the fact that a new technology is applied to the food that cause less useing the land to generate required food for people.
Finally, the reading asserts that to kill agricaltural and garden pests such as insects, many toxic material are exert that influence on brids and causes infertility or dead of them. Conversely, the lecturer brings up the idea that by a new technology, a new crops are generated that need less poisenous substances for growing.
