In the set of materials, the reading passage talk about the human’s presence in the venus and explain some reason that show presence the human in the venus is impossible. In the listening passage professor talk about some reasons than show human presence in the venus can be possible and reading passage argument aren’t convincing
The reading passage provide three reasons that show life in the venus is impossible. first of this reason is that venus high pressure. venus have high pressure rather than earth and this cause to human and spacecraft crushed. The second, there are no reservation of water and oxygen in venus. The third, venus have very little sunlight in their surface because venus’s surface fill with thick clouds that reflect the 60 percent sunlight and just 40 percent of the sunlight can get through the clouds.
The professor in the listening passage says the argument in the reading passage isn’t convincing because of some reasons. first, venus pressure in the 40 kilometers upon the surface is equal the earth surface pressure, therefore the first approach of the reading passage is proved unconvincing. The second, venus has carbon dioxide and sulfur in their atmosphere that with combine both we can make water and some other material that can use for creating oxygen, so the writer’s second idea is rebutted. third, the clouds that fill venus atmosphere aren't very thought, thus reliably retorted the last argument in the reading passage.
To sum it all up by taking all the information into consideration the reading passage argument retorted and life in venus is possible.
