The lecture and the article are both about the population of wildlife and specially birds. The author feels that the number of birds in the United State is declining and provide three reasons of support. The lecture challenges the claim made by the author. He is of the opinion that these explanations are faulty.
To begin with, the author states that icreasing the human population can lead to disappearing the birds because humans need home and dewellers so they destroy the birds habitats for the settlement porpous. The specific arguement is challenged by the lecture, He claims that this urbon placess can lead to decrease some speciec bot it is a good way to increase other birds population like Peagon.
Secondly, the writer argues that because of icreasing the human population the agricultural activities must increase so the habitat of birds convert to agricultural porpouses. The lecture, however, rebuts this by mentioning that the number of agricultural land in the USA is decreasing every year and they learn to grow better and eficiently.
Last but not least, The lecture posits that pesticides are harmful for birds reproduction and these pesticides get into waters and foods of birds. In contrast, the lecture position is that nowadayes humans are aware of the dangerous of these poisons and they produce lower danderous poisons and thanks to genetic technology they produce pests resistante crops.
